Doing it Now

The yearly Hamblin Halloween Bash was tonight.  I took pictures tonight because the next week is going to be crazy and with 5 kids I might not get another good chance to take pictures of the kids in their costumes.

Alyssa in pink, did you expect anything else?

Hallie is an Owl.  Now she has a cute winter hat too!

Every year I ask Tanner what he wants to be for Halloween, and honestly the kid just isn’t that into it.  This year he told me to just pick something for him, so I told him he was going to be dirt.  I think he was actually into his costume this year.

Emma turning people into stone

Snap it quick, they don’t all hold still for long.

Where have I been?

Sheesh, I don’t think I have ever gone this long without updating my blog.  School started and life went into high gear.  What have I been doing?

-Emma started cross country/and has now finished it

-I moved every kid and bed into a different room, cleaning and organizing as I went a long.

-Painted a room pink

-Chased Hallie

-Celebrated Emma’s 12th birthday

-Enjoyed a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Titcomb

-Sewed pillow cases with Grandma

-Sewed skirts for my little princess who refuses to wear anything else

Here are a few pictures to catch up, and a renewal of my commitment to keeping my family journal.  I can’t believe that I have been keeping this blog for so many years.  It has been such a blessing in my life, and I’m hoping it will mean something to my children some day also.

Co-op preschool field trip with Alyssa and Hallie

Hallie loved the chickens, and Alyssa was surprisingly comfortable around all of the animals.

Emma at her first Cross Country race.  She did AWESOME!  I was never a runner (obviously), but I’m pleased to see Emma try some new things and enjoy them.

Really- Emma turning 12 is deserving of it’s own post! We love you Emma!  Grandma and Grandpa were here to help us celebrate.  It was conference Sunday so we had a crepe bar at home, and she didn’t want cake so we had Lemon Meringue Pie instead.

Did I mention Hallie is becoming more and more trouble:)

But so worth it!

Peek-a-boo

Cross Country is over (yay) and so no more running everywhere to pick up from practice, and watching meets (not much of a spectator sport when they disappear and then return 20 minutes later).

Now on to some new adventures… stay tuned, we’re hoping for some exciting times.
