North Star offers free ski lift rides for kids in the summer. We do this every year, pack a picnic lunch and go for a hike. Alyssa announced that riding the ski lifts was as fun as Lagoon. Good! because free is a lot cheaper than what it costs me to get them into Lagoon this year. Lunch was taken under a tree sitting on some logs, we packed crackers, chunks of cheese and some lunch meat, and of course apples and some Oreo cookies.
